Hi!  My name is Ms. Brodie and I want to thank you for taking the time to check out my classroom website.  I'd like to take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself.  I teach 6th grade English Enrichment/AIS at Hackett Middle School.  This is my ninth year of teaching, my third year here at Hackett.  I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education (1-6) as well as a Master's Degree in Special Education (Inclusion).  I previously taught 2nd grade at Henry Johnson Charter School and 5th grade at Rensselaer Park Elementary School in Lansingburgh, NY.   

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, and dog Lucy.  I also have two cats, Kevin and Ken.  I enjoy reading and spending time with my friends.  In the summer I love going down to Long Island to visit with my family.  I love being able to see my nephews, Ian and Ellis!  Check out some of my favorite pictures below!
